Life outside the classroom
We endeavour to take our children out and about to learn outside the classroom. Recent visits include the Tutankhamen Exhibition at the Trafford Centre, Stockport Air raid shelter , a visit to our local police station and The Greater Manchester Police Museum. We have a strong link with our local Police and Fire community who are often seen in the building with the children or escorting them on outings.
All our children from reception classes upwards attend swimming lessons once a week at Ashton Swimming pool.*
We also have a wide range of after school clubs which both students and non students can attend including private piano lessions, sports and drama workshops*

At weekends Grafton House is also the home to The JHS School of Performing Arts, a not for profit organisation that has been founded to give local children access to the arts through the media of dance, music and theatre workshops.
