We have vacancies in School & Nursery

Little Grafters Day Nursery

We operate an open door policy which enables you to pop in and take a look at our facilities and meet our staff. Every day nursery is different and as parents we advise you visit a few and you will know which one is right for you and your child. Our nursery has recently been refurbished to provide Reggio Emilia inspired environments. We would love you to pop in and let us show you around.

I look forward to meeting you and your family.

School Admission & Scholarships

We are able to offer funded places for 3 & 4 year olds where parents are eligible for the  government funded 30 hours childcare – these places are limited and offered on a fist come first served basis.

The school offers small bespoke mixed age classes and  currently has a waiting list for key stage 2. We do have vacancies for Key Stage 1 for September 2017 and can offer parents the opportunity to use their 30 hours for our foundation unit. To enquire about a place please contact our reception.

Places are limited for 2017 and will be offered on a first come first served basis.

The starting point for most prospective parents is to visit the school.

If you would like to do this, all you have to do is contact us and we will be pleased to invite you to join us and see the school on a normal working day. You will have a chance to meet the Headmaster and to sample the friendly atmosphere which is our hallmark.

A second visit will then be organised for you to be interviewed  either at the School or in your family home. This will give you an opportunity to discuss any questions you may have and to find out about our partnership with parents.

Then, if you like what you see, you pay a registration fee. A formal offer will follow , and you usually have about ten days to secure your child’s place by paying the initial deposit.

In practice, this means that the class list is normally complete by the middle of March and parents are then invited to a talk by Mr Wynn in early June. This talk answers all of your questions about the practical details of your child’s first year at school. It also gives you a chance to meet other parents and to exchange numbers, so that the children can get together during the summer and become friends.

For more information about the school, please contact us to arrange a viewing.
