Grafton House Day nursery is set within our Preparatory school. We are open 51 weeks of the year from 7:45 AM to 5:45 PM . Our staff have completed extensive training in the Birth to Three Matters for under three’s and the Foundation Stage learning profiles for pre-school children.
Age Specific Rooms
Here at the Grafton House Nursery all our children's rooms are self sufficient with their own baby changing areas and toilet facilities.
Healthy eating
All our food is freshly prepared on the premises by our qualified cook and follows our healthy eating policy which was praised by Ofsted. Once mobile , our children have their meals in our dining hall, making their food times a special , happy social experience
Outdoor Play
Outdoor play forms a large part in the development of our children. The outdoor play area with safety flooring contains a multitude of activities providing our children with the opportunity to push, ride car's, climb, play with sand or simply explore the area.
Music Centre
Here at Grafton House we are passionate about music as we know that children can flourish in a stimulating musical environment, therefore we have linked in with a specialised music teacher to deliver a structured music programme, designed for babies and young children that links closely with the EYFS. This music programme runs during term time.
